About the Faculty: I was studying at university when there were no personal computers, and I was always wondering how mathematics and software could be used for medicine, biology, astrophysics and meteorology. The Department of Applied Mathematics is the most exciting department at university. It always made me get involved in various creative and brainstorming activities that eventually led me here: I’ve become a software engineer, the profession with a ceaseless thirst for research and discovery.
