New wins of our students at THack Mallorca for Tnooz’s

Playing into the world of product development and prototyping last weekend were 17 developer teams who gathered at THack Mallorca for Tnooz’s hospitality and activities-themed hackathon.
More than 60 student and professional developers tackled contest challenges.
Team LNU (Nazar Hembara, Oleh Pylypchak and Max Gladysh) built a messenger bot drawing information from Hotelbeds and Rome2Rio APIs.

The project won prizes as Best Student Team, People Choice in a vote by developers and two others for total winnings of Euro 4,000.

Congratulations to our students with the prize in Berlin hackathon!

Students of our faculty Nazar Hembara, Oleg Pylypchak and Maxim Gladysh in the team Who Dat Girl attended the hackathon THack Berlin and received second place among the great teams (3-5 people).
The boys clever use of a mobile messenger app to create a travel “assistant” that implements Skyscanner, HomeAway, Telegram, XapiX-emulated TripAdvisor reviews and Google Maps; all of the APIs were connected by XapiX directly to API endpoints.
