Introduction to Digital Forensics

from a leading specialist in the field of network security, digital authentication, information protection and digital forensics Mr. Mohamed Eldefrawy.

Digital Forensics is a branch of cybersecurity that focuses on the recovery and investigation of materials found on digital devices and cybercrimes in criminal and private investigations.

The lecture will be held in English on the Zoom platform.

Mohamed Eldefrawy Photo

Mr. Mohamed received the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from Alexandria University, Alexandria, Egypt, in 2014. Mohamed was a Senior Researcher with the Center of Excellence in Information Assurance, King Saud University, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

He was a Postdoctoral Researcher with the Department of Information Systems and Technology, Mid Sweden University, Sundsvall, Sweden. He is currently an Assistant Professor at Halmstad University, Halmstad, Sweden, has more than 20 research articles in highly reputed journals and conferences.

He is an inventor of two U.S./PCT patents in cybersecurity and a technical reviewer for many international journals and conferences.
