We invite you to a series of two lectures on biomathematics by Prof. Volkmar Liebscher
On April 29 and May 2 at 3:00 PM, lectures by Prof. Volkmar Liebscher from the University of Greifswald (Germany) will be held via the link in MS Teams
29.04 A broad view on biomathematics

02.05 Deriving analytical properties of biomathematical models by algebraic means
Ordinary differential equations serve as a versatile model for many biological scenarios. Though it is easy to simulate the model numerically, it is often hard to determine the qualitative behavior of the dynamical system over a range of parameters. We show how (computational) commutative algebra may help to do so.
