This Department provides specialists preparation in “Social Informatics” research area. Departments scientific areas are mathematical modeling of natural, informational and socio – economics processes and systems; modern informational technologies optimization problems; development of new numerical methods for solving certain classes of problems of algebra, mathematical analysis, differential equations and mathematical physics.

Department prepares high quality postgraduate specialists in such research areas: Mathematical modeling and computational methods, Theoretical fundamentals of Informatics and Computational Mathematics.

The Department was established in 2000.

Corrastate Team at Sasha Reminny’s Startup School: Advancing the Moveo Startup at EPAM Systems Office

From September 2 to 5, 2025, the Corrastate team — students from group PMA-32 of the “System Analysis” specialty (Arseniy-Mykhailo Antoshko, Olena Balamut, Bohdan Lesko, Nazariy Seniv, Ivan Pohrebniak, Rostyslav Furda, Oleksiy Dmytruk) — participated in the Startup School led by Sasha Reminny, held at the EPAM Systems office.
