Course description

Purpose   The main idea is the acquaintans with modern methods of information protection.

Short description   The course includes the series of lectures and practical studies specified of some tasks realization by students in the field of cryptography with cryptanalysis elements. The main objects of study are modern methods of cryptography and cryptanalysis, relevant mathematical apparatus, protocols of different destination by available instrument use.

Representation  In the process of given course study comparative analysis of various cryptography methods is realized with a view to determine the expediency of their use in every specific case. As a result of given course study student must be well oriented in the specific character of various cryptography metods and be able to apply this methods for various problems solution connected with information protection.

As a result students must

  • know: the main symmetric and asymmetric cryptography methods;
  • be master of: their application in the process of information protection problems decision.
