Course description

The aim of the course is the study of modern iterative methods for solving systems of linear algebraic equations of large dimension, which are widely used in problems electrooptics.

Summary. The course covers theoretical and practical issues
solving systems of linear algebraic equations of large dimension iterative methods, implementation of numerical methods on computers, research and effectiveness convergence of iterative processes.

Target. To study the iterative methods for solving electrooptics, be able to construct algorithms for these problems and implement on computers.

As a result of studying this course, the student should:

know: numerical methods for solving systems of linear algebraic equations of large dimension for basic tasks electrooptics;
able: in practice to develop mathematical models applied numerical methods for their solution, to create their own software modules.
